Location of the 7th Pathfinder Challenge has been chosen. The setting will be the beautiful Daniel Boone National Forest in Kentucky. Teams will navigate the lush green forests and through thick brush with only the guide of map, compass, and orienteering skills.

They will mountain bike fire roads and single track trails, and trek through towering pine trees surrounded by hundreds of different plant species. The jagged sheer rock will be the backdrop for the ropes that take racers up, down, and over the breathtaking terrain of the fixed ropes section; the longest and most technical any Pathfinder race has ever encountered. The four person co-ed teams will have to paddle class I as well as less forgiving class IV whitewater if they are to successfully complete this years course.
