| Anyone have any thoughts on the Pre Meet. I was impressed with the way Teeter ran away from Regina. I also noticed Goucher ran the 1500. I guess he is sharpening his speed for the 5000 this summer. It sure would be nice to see him have an outstanding year. And does anyone know where Chandra Sturrup has been lately? I have her on the Fighting Warthogs but if she is injured I will need to make a change. |

I was also watching the meet with an eye on roster selections. 
I'm growing a bit wary of Montgomery's ability to deliver on his talk... Too bad we couldn't come up with a more reliable scoring method for the throws. Just think of the performance points which could be gained in the men's shot this year!
Only one running event really stood out to me as noteworthy, and I can't believe Micah hasn't brought it up already... Gail Devers' stellar wind aided win in the hurdles. She sure looked good over the sticks. I'll leave it to Micah to flesh out that thought...

I agree about Gail ... She looked simply awesome .. Capable of near 12.00 actually as her race was not nearly perfect ...
The shot putters are definintely the stars of the early season ... They have been great ... (I may have ot take a look at one or two of them) ...
MOntgomery is becomign a characature of a sprinter .. HE is doing irreparable harm to himself ... If I were Nike or Adidas he is not someone I would want representing my ocmpany right about now ...
