Hi ....I found a new url for the road race in centre of London on July 21st -changed from last year at : http://www.british10krunslondon.org
I hear many top runners who will be in the Commonwealth Games may run along with 20,000 ordinary folk. The old url was http://www.british10k.org
The race is called "The British Golden Jubilee 10K Opem Road Race".........
As for great USA runners,I actually saw Prefontaine running in the 70's in London.One of a group who impressed me-along with Viren,Bedford,Puttemans. So as a European,his name does stand out more so than many.Maybe he was charismatic ? |
