I have had a pair of Nike Shox and they blow at helping you run. Anyone have similar opinions? And also I have watched videos on youtube with Hicham El Guerrouj in the world record mile, 5k Olympics, etc. And like every pro runner in all of those competitions had the same shoes. I have seen 3 other runners with the same shoes Hicham wore during the 1500m and 5k Olympics. I know the brands of those shoes, but I want to know specifially what they are called, I want to get a pair like those to look more professional. Anything from $20 to $120 is a fine price, so Im not that aware of prices. |

I've worn several pairs of Shox over the years and have liked them for the most part. I'd say their greatest value comes toward the end of the shoe's typical life span, when everything is breaking down except for the heel cushioning.

The point here is that many of th shoes the elites wear are not available for pruchase - especially when it comes to spikes. Guys like ElG can say you know I really like the Kennedy upper and the ventulus spike plate and presto Nike will ship him 10 pair in some variation. This goes for color and all as well - sometimes they will have them customized even more.
Dont buy shoes for how they look alone go try a bunch on and work with someone who knows what they are doing and figure out what is best for your feet and stride patterns. Good luck _________________ The long run is what puts the tiger in the cat. |

Hicham's white shoes in the olympics did not have spikes on them and they seemed like the everyday cheap shoes. |
