My brother and I will be staying at the Key Bridge Best Western, right by a Metro Station.
Normally the Metro wouldn't start running until after the marathon gun. Anyone know if the marathon is making special arrangements to get people to the start - or will we have to take a cab? Mad Dog www.training2run.com |

I would think your best bet is to contact race management about something like that.

They don't answer emails - at least they haven't done so up until now. |

Mike,
What day is the race, and what time do you need to be at the start line? _________________ If I could only run like John Capel... |

Dear Ranger: The race is March 23rd and the start is 7:30 AM. I usually like to arrive 30 minutes before the gun.
The problem has been solved. The morning of the race, Metro will begin running at 5:30 AM. It's the "Blue Line" that gets you there, and the best exit for the race start is "The Arlington National Cemetary." Mike (the Happy Dog this morning) . www.training2run.com |
