I saw this article and found two things interesting. First off that she isn't really working with Bob Kersee much any more. And I love her strait forward assesment and dedication to improving the sport of track and field in the US.

Nice article, thanks. Devers certainly has maintained a great attitude throughout her career. We generally only talk of males when discussing who would make good post-competing commentators, but I think Devers deserves consideration. Slight upgrade over Carol Lewis, eh?  She'd just have to tone down the religious comments a bit...
Interesting that she points to training alone as a source of improvement now. A few years back she talked to training in group for the first time in years and how much it helped her.

Without a doubt, of coarse with the way she's running right now I would really like to see her on the track for a while before we see her behind a microphone.

Enjoyed the article. Gail is one of my favorite athletes...and not just for the reason I normaly mention.

I have asked her to join in but so far she has declined. She might be afraid that I would embaress her.
