Air Err... I think Nike set that name aside for the pop singer Anastacia after her rendition of the Star Spangeled Banner at the All Star Game. Better make that the Star Mangled Banner... "and the rockets gave glare" ? It's the freaking national anthem get the words right!!

If I'm not mistaken, isn't her album entitled Freak of Nature? See, we can bring this discussion full circle back to a running topic.

Dan, will you be wearing your Gel Poobah tee-shirt at the Lake O benefit?? I hope to be there just to watch.
Also, another great Tryon Creek story occurred while you were on vacation. You probably heard about it already. A girl faked her abduction and wound up in Seattle!!

Can't say I've planned my attire that far down the road just yet...
I did indeed hear about that fiasco while in Vancouver, and I got the detailed scoop from my dad (lives a short block away from the Iron Mt. entrance) on the way back. If she doesn't get hit with a major warning or community service, some laws need to be changed...
DG, excellent addition to the list!

Yes, Gel Guinness is superb. By the way , Sarah just got caught in Camas on a marijuana charge. Did your Dad tell you that the total bill for the manhunt was $50,000?? |

Yep, that's the figure I heard. That plus all the volunteer hours that were put in. I pointed out that the expense of shutting down the park for several days (based on however much money is put into it annually) should also be taken into account when figuring her debt to the community... And yes, I saw the marijuana incident on the news last night. Sounds like a real winner.
