SOURCE: http://www.pedroscup.pl/pl/news/nn48.html
The 5th (biannual) International Track and Field Meet Perdo's Cup Warszawa'2007 (Warsaw, Poland):
Problem: no list of athletes who will participate.
The athletes who have been announced:
-1) 400 m: Jeremy Wariner,
-2) 100 m: Kim Collins,
-3) 100 m: Asafa Powell,
-4) Shot Put: Reese Hoffa and Adam Nelson,
-5) 400 m H: Jana Rowlinson nee Pittman,
-6) 400 m H: Anna Jesien,
-7) 400 m H: Marek Plawgo (likely 400 m flat together with other members of the Polish national 4x400m relay),
-Cool Hammer Throw: Kamila Skolimowska and Szymon Ziolkowski ...
... and many others, since they forgot to place a list.
However, by the next year this problem should be fixed, and the way this meeting has been getting better, I would not be surprised if it made the IAAF Grand Prix status really soon.
PS
Of course, the local and international female Pole Vaulters will be one of the main attractions.

I think that the organizers of the Pedro's Cup count a little too much on the Global Warming. Asafa Powell said that he loves to come back for th 3rd time, but, he will not even dream about running sub 10 in cold like that. The Pedro's Cup must be moved to July or August, but to do so, and for the meet to be successful, it must become part of the World Athletics Tour.
It was a great idea to develop the meet, by placing it just before the season is over both as a tune—up for the WAF, and as the last opportunity was those who got injured during the competitive part of the season as well as those who peeked too late to let them prove to themselves that their hard work did not go to waist.

It was not windy, and no rain: the temperature was 9 degrees Celsius or 48.2 Fahrenheit.

From what I have read, it seems that most people agree that no dashes (anything up to 400 meters) should be held with temp. under 40 F.
