I used to train for 1/2 marathons and this year I really wanted to run Grandma's maration but, I've lost all my motivation to run. Even from my bedroom to the bathroom. Ha, ha. All kidding aside. I feel really lost -- and really lazy -- because I used to be so dedicated to my running routine.
Is there something wrong with me? Will I snap out of this before it's too late? Any advice for motivation? I thought about aiming for a new goal -- maybe setting my sites on a new race -- something of a shorter distance like a 10k or 15k.

Hi Kelli,
Sorry to hear about the loss of motivation. Do you run with anyone else? Not having a training partner is probably the biggest cause of losing motivation. I would recommend trying to find someone to run with and see what that does for you. If that doesn't work, some time off or a new training program might help.
