I believe that Polish dashers will do the best during these particular championships of all major international championships that they participated in within the last ten years.
One reason is that Poland does not have world--class dashers, but at best, the European elite members.
Another is that most of them treat the indoor season just as a stepping stone to prepare themselves for the outdoor season (most especially injury prone Marcin Urbas and Mariusz Chyla).

most recent results:
The leader of the Polish dashers -- hurdlers, Aurelia Trywianska improved her personal best for the second time this year over 60 meters by running 60 meters hurdles in 7.93 seconds in Birmingham, during Norwich Union Grand Prix meet, and placed third in the race. Grazyna Prokopek was fourth, in the same meet, today, in the women’s 400 m competition. She finished the race in 52.90, her season best.
Outside of the dashes or sprints; in the same competition, Grazyna Prokopek lost to the winner, Yelena Isinbayeva , both cleared 4.79 meters. 4.79 meters is the new Polish national indoor record.

During the meeting of Kadra in Spala, Poland, Malgorzata Pskit ran 400 m in 53.64 seconds, and Ewelina Setowska, an 800--m specialist, in her new personal best of 53.67 seconds.

In the track and field indoor meet in Warsaw, today, Marcin Jedrusinski, a 200 m--specialist, established his personal best of 6.67 seconds over 60 meters. Marcin Nowak, Michal Bielczyk -- established his personal best as well, Tomasz Biernat, and Karol Sienkiewicz (of Podlasie Bialystok -- club from my native city) ran 60 meters in 6.69 seconds, 6.73 seconds, 6.74 seconds, and 6.76 seconds, respectively.

During a meet in Boston, USA, Lucjan Zaborowski finished 500 meters, running indoors, in 1:03.05.
