There's no one answer to that, but lots of opinions. The common belief are that diet is most directly responsible. Make sure you eat easily digestible foods and give yourself a solif 4 hours to digest before running. Being well hydrated will also help, and focusing on deep, relaxed breathing should, too. And of course, improved conditioning usually yields less side aches.
