Hi i am 20 and am looking at training to do the 100m i have ran 12 something just messing around in training without blocks or spikes and wondered how much faster i could go if i trained for it and ran competitively, what kind of training will i need to do?

any help gratefully received

That's a rather broad question. Surprised There are lots of things to work on, but a lot depends on what strengths and weaknesses you bring to the event. The best thing is to always work with a coach and/or training partner that knows enough to lead you along. Short of that, reading up on the event is helpful. Once you know more about the event and have specific questions, it's a lot easier for people who can't see you run in person to offer advice.

Thats good, try it with spikes and blocks now.....
Make sure u get a good Drive Phase out the blocks and dont run straight up in the air....
Pump your arms fast as u can an pick your knees up when u run...
