Dear Dan: I don't think your graphics are "rank. " I think they're pretty nice, actually . Mad Dog Mike www.training2run.com |

WOW I leave the office for a couple of days and you completely change the site! Although I must say I like what you've done with the place. _________________ Time is the fire in which we burn |

Thanks, I always wanted to be an interior designer... Actually, not really, but I always wanted to say that I wanted to...

If it makes you feel any better, I contemplated adding a "Mad Dog Mike Lounge." I figured that would fill up quickly.

Hey, wow, will they serve hors d'oeuvers?
Come to Mad Dog Mike's Lounge. Carb-up, read about running, shmooze about running, but you don't have to actually run: the best of all possible worlds! Mad Dog Mike www.training2run.com |

I like the idea of Mad Dog Mike's Lounge. Don't forget the ribs. But it has to be more exclusive. Have people email their training logs to you to see if they qualify. |

It could always be made a private forum...
Is this too goofy?
Distance Den
Sprint Saloon
Field Event Forum
Mid-Distance ... ? Museum???
I'm having a hard time deciding what to do with the general running and training forums. Maybe the training forum should be pared down to topics of a more technical nature, with the rest fitting into either general running topics or the event area forums?

Hmmm ... General topics could be the Runners Lobby perhaps ... Sprinting I hate the idea of a saloon but how about the Speed Salon ...No how about the Speed City Cafe ??? Maybe the Athtletic Field for the field events ... Perhaps a Distance Diner ... And the Middle Distance Deli ??? And a Trainers Tavern ... Close ??? Is that what you had in mind ??? |

I might have to sleep on that... Along the same lines, Field House, Distance Depot, and Sprint Station...

|

Do you qualify for the Mad Dog Lounge?
Actual Running/Training Unnecessary! Do you think about, talk about, or read about running at least one hour a day; do you hate Gatorade and love Powerade (or watered-down Fresca); do you own a pair of dirty flats, and a pair of splits-style shorts; do you think Lycra tights look silly?
Yes to the above! You qualify.
Actually, I think the present set-up is just fine, and lots of fun - often educational too. Don't change a thing, please! Mad Dog Mike www.training2run.com |

Mad Dog!! I spend an hour a day just trying to keep up with your posts!! I like the new rankings and forums also. Even so, I doubt I would qualify for Mad Dog's Lounge. I'm barely at 10 miles a week, let alone over 10 hours a week!!

My mouth runith over. When I was a kid, my mom once put tape over my mouth to try to shut me up - it didn't work, as you can see.
Paul, and the rest of Youz Guyz: if you even *think* about running one hour a day, and don't drink Gatorade, you qualify for Mad Dog's Lounge.
If you actually run or are married to a runner, you get a spot to hang your private mug. If you come to Mexico to run, you get your own 2 ltr pop bottle filled with iced water (with your name in Magic Marker) in the gym fridge. Mad Dog Mike www.training2run.com |

I drink Gatorade, quite like it, and very much enjoy the commercial "documenting" its UF roots...
