Just thinking out loud here...
- intimately familiar with the inner workings of computers
- willing and able to travel extensively
- comfortable with tech support
- teaching background and capable instructor
- competent troubleshooter
- proficiency in undetermined number of foreign languages
- photography expert
- networking ace
- outgoing personality
- photo finish timing experience
If you can meet all of those qualifications, well, you can have pretty much any job you want. I guess that would be problem 'A' for you, Kevin. Problems 'B' and 'C' would be that several of those qualifications are more or less mutually exclusive from others on the list, and there's no mention of salary, which will probably scare off anyone capable of meeting the criteria.

Dan,
Help Wanted Advertisements are corporate wish lists. I encourage any and all runners with any degree of technical knowledge and experience to send me a resume. Our primary interest is a candidate's passion for sport (Track & Field, Cross Country, X-C skiing, rowing, etc.). That is the common bond we all share at Lynx System Developers.
Sincere Regards,

Well, if it's a wish list and you're looking for passionate people, why not drop the corporate aspect and inject more personality into the job listing? I imagine you'd be much more likely to find the people you're looking for that way. It at least beats the 99% of people who would otherwise be scared off by their glaring lack of qualifications.
