I did not run in the 2--mile race because I suffered from the flu. Next year! I hope! it is the 1--mile up and 1--mile down race and I love it!

Mr. Doctor Timothy Noakes because of his personality type and because half his data, I assume, comes from the world class athletes is skewed towards a lot of miles: too many for most mortals; and to negative splits, does not work for men like me (I am not a world class athletes, nor extremely skinny).
Yet, my ridiculous approach to getting back into groove over the distance of 1600 meters would be OK’ed by him, since he has never been just an M.D., nor just a scientist; he was an applied or sports scientist!
It reminds me of the Polish aircraft engineers who never learned about the laminar—flow wing, yet, arrived at in, in the case of PZL.37 Los’, by trial—and—error, and not knowing why it works, were about to use it in new designs that were never built because of the war.
Applied scientists and applied engineers do not, necessarily, need to know why!
Dual approach project:
Part 1 is: Yasso—like 300 meters starting with 77s/77s and going down to 60 seconds.
Part 2 is: 300 m in less than 61 seconds with 5 seconds shorter intervals in between.
Part 3: by the time I get to 30 s breaks; 25s breaks and I go down from 8 reps to 7; 20 s 7 reps to 6; 15s 6 reps to 5; and…some easy running for a week or so (2 miles at 90% pace; some 200 m strides etc. and one hill session: fartlek like sessions) …and 1 mile at 60s per 300 m pace!
5 x 300 = 1500 m in 5:00.0 flat
1600 m in 5:20…
…and a mile in under 5:24.
How crazy the above my look, it can work for me, since I am using elements that did work for me in the past.
RoKo

I am getting better because I am trainning with some Klingons 3 or 4 times a week.
This Branch is famous for exagguration, but not withstanding the big talk, to great extent they can back it with performance. It is not all just talk.
The first time I did hear of a man running 5 miles in 16 minutes was from a man who "did" it while in one of the South American armies; this time it was a Gringo (Yankee) who made it more believeable: 5 miles in under 19 minutes.
Wink
There is also one man who comes there at the same time except Sundays and hollidays and without any chronometer, he runs 8 minutes a mile pace, unless his son get too annoying. I do pace myself of him.

MY NATURAL PLAN!

Except when starving human being gets thinner and fatter in periods. I will ride the waves once I do get back to 200 (198-199) correct military weight; and know I am riding a mega wave!

Fat --> steroid lipid known as cholesterol also a base to build other natural steroids: when fat build muscles, when thin use it to speed up. If too much "beef," do what they do in the Armed Forces: get rid of it by static exercises such as carrying of boxes in outstretched arms.
PS
Commonsesne:
1. At 1st they want your boots polished in 2 minutes both pairs. However, I knew a young man who still was scarring his boots with dirt instead of removing it by the end of our Basic/AIT!
2. Avoid exposure to elements as much as possible when deployed! They train you/us to not mind the elements, but logic behooves you!
3. I would stand still like a Brit by the Queen's Palace and slightly move my gaze when at attention to avoid a dircet face--to--face: you could not notice my eyes moving. However, when running in short in formation, I would scratch myself while running. Why? Why? Why? You may be able to remove a tic off of your body, but within a minute or 60 seconds, it will be hooked and the hookes will stay forever inside of your skin and possibly cause some sort of infection. Commonsense! Dudes!

It seems that Mr. Lisowski has successfully rebuilt the 4 x 400 m men's relay. They did miss the final by a couple yards and mainly because they have not leaned how to use their elbows. They will learn. The time was O.K. as well: 3:01.xx.
--------
I was rushing back home; therefore, I did 6 Yasso-like 400m intervals/repeats in under 2 minutes and 6 plus 5, 11, chin-ups. I am on the way of doing 10 chin-ups, like a seasoned G.I., infantry man in the Army, and more. Now, in the case of a test, I can force 7.

-----
225 lbs
should be under 2010 lbs
perfect military weight is 200 lbs
perfect running weight 196?

1. 2 to the power of 0 = 1 marathon
2. 2 /\ 1 = 2 half marathons
3. 2 /\ 2 = 4 10 K's

9 minutes a mile may eb slow, but is my race time. At least I know it and can work around it.
