Sammy Wanjiru has died after falling from his second-floor balcony. Wanjiru's wife walked in while he was in bed with another woman, ran away, locking the door to the stairs, causing Sammy to go out the window instead. Some claim suicide, some even claim it was murder. There's been a lot of bad news about Sammy in the last 5 months after his AK incident threatening to kill his wife, his car accident, and his drinking problems; sad to see it end this way. Sammy will be remembered for running the most impressive marathon of all-time in Beijing and for his epic duel over Kebede last year in Chicago for the $500k while not in top form which led me to be afraid he'd dominate marathon running for the next decade... Sounds like the fame and fortune got too him way to quickly.
