My school has this following grading scale. I wonder how it may stack up against other grading scales you have encountered:
97-100 A
94-96 A-
91-93 B+
87 -90 B
84 - 86 B-
81 - 83 C+
77-80 C
73- 76 C-
69- 72 D+
65 - 68 D
63 -65 D-
I judge it to be far above average on difficulty. No 5 point scale... _________________ Je suis rapide! |

I've never heard of B's extending into the 90% range.

I know they graded on a 100 point scale so there were very few letter grades so just like the tests you were graded that way
I also taught HS and I agree with Dan in that B's up to the 90's does not seem that strict. _________________ The long run is what puts the tiger in the cat. |

Here was mine in the U.S.
(90-100) A
(80-89) B
(70-79) C
(60-69) D
(0-59) F
In Romania it's 1-10, after which they add them all up and average. _________________ My favorite all time race: Hicham El Guerrouj - Prefontaine Classic Mile 2002 http://youtube.com/watch?v=4YykUTHzOL8
