Serge Arbona set a new world record by covering 152 miles in 24 hours on a treadmill. Monica Scholz set the women's record with 100 miles.

I am an ultramarathon fan and wannabe but this one leaves me scratching my head and wondering why? Confused

Wow, and I thought the ice run was crazy. Let me guess, they ran it in a white, padded room?

Wow, that is seriously tedious. But if it was the same treadmill throughout the 24 hours... what a duty cycle!!

Where can I find the treadmill records? I bet I could set one of my own. Who does log / certifies this kind of records? Very Happy Wink

I'm not sure about the certification process but there is an article about the records at www.ultramarathonworld.com
