I've said many times (and been blasted for it) that the worst thing that ever happened to both Tim and Dwain was the 2002 Paris race !!! And I still stand by it ... Neither has broken 10 since ... And both have seemingly gone in reverse rather than showing any sign of improvement ... And I don't wxpect that to change in 2004 ... _________________ Conway

At least Dwain seemingly made an effort to improve by adding muscle. Tim did nothing positive between Paris and Paris... Unfortunately for Dwain, his attempts backfired and left him just as bad off as Tim.

To be honest, I'm not sure what Dwain was trying to do ... No one has ever bulked up that much in an attempt to get faster !!! _________________ Conway

I figure he was trying to emulate John Regis...

Tim is out to lunch ... I've been saying that for several years now ... I've been labled a Tim hater, but I just call it like I see it ... And so far I keep being right where he is concerned ...
THIS was his year to shine ... Fresh off setting a WR !!! The MAN (Mo) weakened ... Yeah he changed coaches ... Big whoop ... People do it every year ... Last time Mo did it he became World Champ !!! Had a baby .. NO he didn't have a baby - MARION had a baby ... Nothing physical going on for Tim ... No need to miss training ... Marion and baby were home while he was away - no bottles, diapers or any of that stuff ... Athletes leave their jobs to be there at child birth all the time ... Go back and do their thing ...
Timmy's just a nut case who didn't get it done !!!! And won't next year either ... |
...I agree as well. However, it does not mean that he cannot beat Mo. Everything is possible. Who knows if Mo will ever return to the top shape? It is likely, and plausible, but not certain. _________________ http://vincovitanj.tripod.com/Do_not_be_a_victim1/index.htmlhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u43o595CARQ

you are right ... Mo m ay not return to his best shape ... That is a distinct possibility ... However, that may be the least of Tim's worries as others have begun to step forward ... No one was THE MAN this season ... But several showed that they want to be .... Tim went backwards this season ... We'll see what he does next ... _________________ Conway
