No worries, that gives you 5-6 weeks. Plenty of time to drag Ranger out for some 15 milers.

Yeah!
I knew he could do more mileage than he was doing...he just wasn't going slow enough. *shows Dan the drawer of whips* I got him right where I want him now. We'll find him a half for November.

Did 10 miles all by myself yesterday. Maddie's said that she was going to go out and try for 10, so I figgured if she could do it...so could I. That was after watching John Capel and Darvis Patton get the gold and silver in the 200m... Oh if I could only run like that

He he..yeah but the difference between MY ten miles and HIS ten miles is that his was as flat as pancake. My ten miles had at least 5 hills with one butt kicker that gets ya coming AND going. They don't call the street at the top Skyline Drive for nothing!
Even so, I'm glad he at least attempted it because I knew he could do it. Now if I could only bench press what he can, we'd be a couple to be reckoned with.

We've got a Skyline Drive in Portland. There's just not enough room for runners, cyclists, and cars at the same time!
Glad to hear you two are moving along well to the Oct half-mar goal.
