My runs depend on when I can get away from the kids. I might get a 6-7 mile run, or a couple of 3 mile runs...I'm averaging around 10 miles a week. I also do a video tape called ttapp that is a yoga/isometric/balance type workout.
What is a good balace for incorporating long runs, short runs, and the video? My 3 mile takes about 26 min., and my 7 mi takes a little over an hour.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Obviously run as frequently as you can, and when you have the time, get the longer run in since you may not find the time later in the week... Since time is your major limiting factor, I wouldn't even worry about how to mix up the runs, as it's unlikely you'll end up over-training.
