I've been wearing the Nike Vomero's lately. Very comfortable and long lasting, but not quite as light and nimble as I typically prefer.

Asics 2160's definitely get my vote, but they have a lot of arch support which I need to fix pronation. You should bite the bullet and go to one of those running shoe stores that watches you run, fits you with a shoe, watches you run, fits you with a better shoe, watches you run, and fits you with the perfect shoe. Marathon Sports worked for me, though I think there are a lot of them out there now. The right running shoes are worth their weight in gold.

Hello,

I have run many 100 mile ultra trail races and there are many things that I look for in a trail running shoe. This article does does list any shoes by name but does give some advice on what to look for in a shoe: www.hawaiianshirtray.com/proper-gear/right-size-running-shoe/
