Music of Childhood:
Mine (example of):

What was yours?
Yes: I did listen to Punk and Hard Core, but Lady Pank was the main Polish youth band during the earliest 1980's. This song is about the very existence, about urban jungle, about each day interactions during the difficult times of the unrest, and even touches up on the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan as well as the Near Middle East (this is why the Opole Festival/Concert/Gig version was truncated).
Another song from the lowest point of the Mrashall Law time in Poland (1982-1985):

I personally listen to the Rocky movies theme song. You know Rocky, the boxer, Sylvester Stallone. The song is caleld "Gonna fly now." Then I also listen to new metal or "grunge metal" such as breaking benjamin, but not the crazy death metal where they cut themselves. Other favorite genres that I listen to are trance and techno. If you listen to the band group "Enigma" they have really good electronic music. Most electronic music that I listen to has very little lyrics such as DJ Tiesto. Listen to DJ Tiesto-Suburban Train. I pretty much doubt it is your style Wink Other bands from the 80s that I like are Earth, Wind, and Fire, or 80s disco. I ghly reccomend Gonna Fly Now, good to listen to while running during a thunderstorm, and hail.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=KPWBF4AkLAc great electronic song, love it, it gets good at 1:20. It is also the same song for the world record mile for Guerrouj http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=674UY0ehxWI

I am old: to me songs that I listened to when I was 12,13, or 14 are childhood songs.

Even though the childhood songs I listen too can't be from my childhood since I am not old enough, it still shows the difference in generation gaps which makes it seem interesting.

Tina Turner-Simply the Best is also a very good song.
