My team “New Jersey” (I love and hate this state; I have spent nearly 14 years of my life there: it is a very special state X 3: special good, special bad and a special short bus) will be represented by these athletes in the virtual Track and Field Fantasy League’s reality.

1. Shawn Crawford (He, as an athlete, represents a strange combination of the acceleration dasher with a 200--meter specialist’s - - curve--running ability. He, however, fails to perform great over 100 meters.)

2. Olusoji A. Fasuba
3. Ronald Pognon (if he gets past early in the stage – he does not even make the top three: he tightness up too quickly, if it seems that he is not going to win)
And
4. Asafa Powell

400 m
1. Gary Kikaya (the only 400 m sprinter who can, at present, challenge the US domination)

1500 m
1. Ivan Heshko

Long Jump:
1. Irving Saladino

100 m
1. Me’Lisa Barber

400 m
1. Svetlana Pospelova

800 m
1. Janet Jepkosegi

High Jump
1. Anna Chicherova
2. Barbara Lalakova

With Gatlin and Marion Jones out of competition, I do not hope to advance in the rankings because I do believe no one in the top 30 chose either of athletes.

LJ
Saladino

100
Durst

400

That men's 200 should be hot!

I guess I have no interest in the results of the combined 5k/10k, as Isaac Songok isn't running either... That squad might still be capable of 1400 pts, but it'll probably be a bit too little for moving up much.

Results are in:

http://run-down.com/fantasy/index.php?go=full_results

I was hoping for 1400 and broke 1300, so I'm fairly pleased. I only moved up one spot, but I'm within a stone's throw of #12... Yukon managed another 1700+ Shocked

Only a 1000 for me, so I stayed even ... Week #2 absolutely killed me ... Get rid of that one and I had a decent shot !!!!!

No room for a bad week when the leaders are making 1400 look like nothing!

Big scores are being posted these past few meets, so 100 pt moves are definitely achievable.
