It is Fruit Malt Loaf (also suitable for vegetarians)

Below is the nutritional information:

Per 100g as sold

Energy 1114kj/262kcal
Protein 7.9g
Carbohydrate 55.9g (of which sugars 6.1g)
Fat 0.8g (of which saturates 0.1g)
Fibre 2.1g
Sodium Trace

In my opinion this is a truely excellent food to eat for runners, with the ammount of good carbohydrate and the small amount of fat. I am going to start eating alot of this aswell as a lot of Banana's as I think the added potassium frum the Banana's will top it off.

What do you think great food right?

Looks like a dense raisin bread of some sort.

I guess that it indeed may be “food of gods” as long as I missed supper, woke up 4 a.m., and were about to participate in a road race at 6 a.m., I certainly could digest with pleasure next to anything as long as I would chase it with a cup of coffee.

This is very close to what we, in the U.S., would refer to as "brown bread". Not sure how really nutritious this really is. I would imagine it is fairly high glycemic, which would make it more suitable for an after workout snack.

Now, here is the real deal on super food: http://www.hornetjuice.com/

Shocked
