i am having a dull pain in my ankle well actually i guess its my lower leg on the outside(left) right above that bone that sticks out any suggestions??

Is it caused by your shoes? Some shoes ride up too high around the ankle bone and aggravate that area. If that's not it, a visit to the podiatrist might be in order, as there are numerous structural things that could be going on.
