| I'm pretty sure I have a bunion on my right foot. After all, I do have a bump sticking out near the joint where the big toe meets the foot, and it sometimes feels sore. But lately, whenever I swim or warmup/cooldown I get a strong, painful cramps throughout the foot. Could these two be related? Should I get the bunion chopped off? If so, when? I'm supposed to start cross-country training today, and I feel ok. But, these are concerns I don't think shouldn't be unnoticed. |

Doubtful. Most everyone has a bit of a bump there. Unless it's very pronounced, it probably isn't related to the soreness. More likely, it's just sore from training.

| Are you sure? The bump on my right is considerably larger than on my left. |
