Hi
Based on my 239 lb. PR for 1600 m, 8:23 m/s, I would like you to predict how fast will I run 1600 m weighting 190 lb. (a true ideal weight)?
I should weight 190 lb. within the next 6 months.

I don't know of any formula for predicting such a thing with any accuracy, nor do I see any value in it. When you weigh 190 pounds, then you'll be able to predict with very good accuracy what you run the 1600 in. Wink

Woah, I've been taking a look into the past of this forum and there were a lot more active users than 5 today. Also it's amazing to see the date that this was posted, when I was in 1st-2nd grade! I've noticed that you've had some issues with weight back then, but now it looks like you improved-slowly, but surely.

I wish I was here in the past to discuss running more often. Wink

Crazy as it may seem, I did not know when I wrote it that I did grow by one full half--an--inch in between the ages of 24 and 28. At present, for other reasons as well, my weight should be around 200, and is about ... 210.
I used to weight as much as 250 lbs when I was 6 feet flat as a mirror's surface.
When I was in the Army I was most of the time measured at 6'1'', and by short NCO's, at 6' 1/2'' or 6' 0.5''.

This was still written when I was in first grade... Shocked

You know, I regret not starting to train since then. I would've been so far today. Humans aren't used to setting decade-long goals, because they seem too irrational or they seem like they have a low probability of happening. However, the mistake is that a decade literally flies by. Seeing that I'm already looking forward to 17, I'll soon be done with 1/4 of my lifespan before I too, fail. 9th grade especially, flew by too.

For me, life seems way too short. It goes by like a flash. Are you that type of person too?
