The brain is the control center of the body which controls thoughts, memory, speech and movement. It also regulates the function of many organs. When the brain is healthy, it works quickly and automatically. However, when problems occur, the results can be devastating. Although theres not much cure for brain disorders, scientists are doing their best to find a ready cure for the same. As the organ is complex, so is the complexity involved in making it function properly.

The UT Dallas center for BrainHealth is a front runner in researching and promoting academic training for the cure of brain disorders. The center also provides continued follow-up to enhance and monitor functional recovery in children and adults with brain injury, brain disease and complications of normal aging. It has some known personalities like Sallie and Frederic Asche, Jr.Claudia and Dennis Berman, Toni and Norman Brinker, Dianne Cash, Theresa and David Disiere, Patsy Donors, John Harbin, Matrice Ellis-Kirk, among others as its members.

The center is in the process of constituting a team of scientists that can lead the nation to new breakthroughs in autism, attention deficit disorder, Alzheimer?s and other significant brain issues. It has already pioneered the unique Horizontal approach to uncover the commonalities in brain repair. It is a very different approach which has characteristics like Multidimensional diagnosis, Groundbreaking Cognitive Interventions, Multimodality Functional Brain Imaging and Brain Biomarkers. The approach is sure to be beneficial in the research and cure of brain disorders

hello everyone,
I am not sure why this is posted here but it is good news; if they can help brain disorders! All kidding aside; did you know that good Omega oils help you brain power as well? A good fish oil supplement, or DHA supplement in particular-------we need it for an active healthy brain.
