I can see that they try to keep 200 m as exposed as possible; one year as men's event, and the other as women's.
In reality, since they got rid--off 200's indoors, the 200 m has increased in quality; however, this might have been coincidental, since both in 200 m and 400 m there was a pause during the change of guard amongst the US dashers: sub 45 was enough for a medal during world championships.

Only one? Wink

I assume you consider the 800/1500 mid-distance? Which event would you suggest, given that it will be non-GL?

Even if you wanted for 800 m and 1500m to be gone, you may not get your wish, it all depends on the Maker (an expression borowed from Babylon 5).

I would wish that men's 800 m was in, but I may not get my wish either.

I would forsee, however, that women's 100 m will be in.

to me those are middle distance and if based on GL they would already be in 1500 for men and 800 for women...

I want a 3-5 K or more...

have you started looking at events yet? obviously gl meets + olympics

I can start some research into things as well if it will help...

Hope all is well with you!

I haven't looked at anything other than the GL event list. It usually takes a while for all the meet sites to get up and running for the current year. It is about that time, though.
