Sounds unbelieveable i know, but I just watched a documentary and Budhia Singh from India is just 4 Years old and has been running 20 miles a day most days and 120 miles a week since he was 3.

Whats even more incredible is he ran 40 miles non stop without water and in 90 degree heat.

It has caused great controversity in India for obvious reasons.

Has anyone else heard about this?

Budhia Singh, a 4-year-old "India’s Forrest Gump", ran 65 km (40.4 miles):

"Budhia Singh completed the distance in seven hours and two minutes, which is an Indian record," said his coach, Biranchi Das. "This is perhaps a world record too. No other kid at his age has completed a distance of 65 kilometres at one go.

Now thats how everyone should train. 20 year olds who complain about shin splints, and this 4 year old with rubber cartlilage tibias can do better. I predict he will ruin himself. Kids are under A LOT of devlopment at that age, it could leave him "handicapped" for the rest of his life. Do kids have stronger hearts than older ones or is it just more energy. I myself with a 4:48 mile was kept ahead with only 10 meters of a 4th grader, yet they cant run sub 5 minute miles.

That kid is banned from running. I personally did research on him, and officials will not let him run, as for his coach, charges are being pressed on him for child abuse. He specifically recognized the marks on his body from the coach beating him, and once attempting to hang him from a ceiling fan. His name is Budiah Singh or something like that...

I think I know why this kid can run so much. As Indeurr mentioned, the smaller the body the more water it stores, so that explains why he can run in intense heat without water. Second is that he only runs at a relaxed speed. He does not run at an unstable speed that is more demanding. It's not that he is very very developed, it is that he has an extraordinary capability of conserving energy. If you think about it, if we ran at a relaxed speed, we could run as much as 50 miles. It is much like walking 50 miles...
